Do you need a expensive set for content creation?

When I posted my first YouTube video back in 2018 which is nonexistent(btw never delete your videos) I recorded every video using my Xbox One S and Playstation 4. My very first video was around three minutes along with many clips from my Xbox. So you’re probably wondering how I would edit all my videos and also get them from my XBox to pc? When it came to my Xbox clips I would send them to my Microsoft OneDrive then download them on to my pc then upload them into my editing software program.

When it came to my PS4 clips I would put them onto my USB drive then plug my USB into my pc. I know it seems like a hassle but everyone starts somewhere when it comes to making gaming content. I made content for a whole year on and off using my Xbox until I built my first gaming pc back in 2019 which I still have, but over the years I have upgraded my pc myself. In conclusion you do not need the top of the line gaming PC to stream or even make gaming content and you want to know the reason?

When you’re first starting out you’ve to build your community it takes awhile for some to gain viewership and you don’t want to invest over $1K when no one is barely watching your content as it can discourage you because you’ve wasted money. I’ve been following plenty of content creators over the years that have started using a console and now have their own pc’s. It honestly takes time and commitment, so do not give up and think you’ve to have what everyone else has as far as a set when you start out because you will reach your goals in the end.
